Small Groups

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

At Faith Alliance our desire is to live life together! Small groups allow us to do just that, while we connect with one another through fellowship and encourage one another to learn and grow in our relationship with Christ. Small groups allow us to: 

  • Develop friendships that support and encourage
  • Get to know new people
  • Give love and receive it through prayer, conversation and acts of service
  • Grow Spiritually and develop our spiritual gifts
  • Develop leaders who branch off and multiply small groups

For some people small groups provide the structure and accountability they need to read and study their Bible on a regular basis. There is no perfect group, leader, or study but by God’s grace we can create an atmosphere where we just live life together. To get connected with a small group or if you feel God calling you to lead a small group, please contact Josh Harn.

“I have been involved in various small group bible studies since I accepted Christ– studies from parenting, marriage, women only, and couples studies, and I so appreciate all that comes with each of these studies.  They help keep me accountable and disciplined, there is a sense of openness without feeling awkward about asking a question.  You get to hear what others see in a scripture verse that you had never seen before which makes you want to go deeper.  Our prayer time is special as you know you have complete openness and confidentiality with those in the group.  Fellowship bonds are formed with your group members that you might not form otherwise.  I am so very thankful for the wonderful study facilitators that put in all the extra time & effort to make sure we are being fed straight from scripture.”  – Laura Giesen

Adult Sunday School

Revelation 1:3: “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.”

Faith Alliance church offers a unique opportunity in which adults can meet on Sunday mornings for adult Sunday School while the children and youth are in Discovery Land and Youth group from 8:45 to 9:45. Adult Sunday School is just another opportunity for you to choose one of several classes led by a facilitator from FAC. Classes offered allow learning, growth, structure and accountability that is sometimes needed to get you into God’s word on a regular basis. Subjects include books of the Bible or topical studies in several areas to offer growth in your faith walk. We use a variety of resources such as RightNow Media video series, audio series, book studies etc.
